I live down ocean city maryland. I run 4.5" lift with 35's with no fender flares and no rear bumper on a xj. My tires stick out alot, I've never had a problem with any cops down there. I get stopped riding my bicycle all the time though

why would u not have a rear bumper? this takes all the impact and protect the frame and the rest of the body.

Well my jeep is basically trail only so I don't care about not having a rear bumper

I was heading into OC last year when everyone was heading out. It was the coolest thing to see all the modded jeeps cruising the highway. I plan on attending this year's events. I spent A LOT of time there last year in my lifted TJ (no doors, 6"lift, 35" tires). I never had a issue with police. Things get a little out of hand in that city from time to time. I guess a few cops feel the need to set examples. But none the less, still looking forward to this event this year 2014!!!
