I have exhausted my Google-Fu abilities and come up empty - does anyone have a preferred vendor / supplier for your basic metal supplies in the DC-Baltimore area? I'm in Severn, near Fort Meade, but I'll travel if necessary.
Looking for things like DOM tubing, square tubing, large angle sections, etc - I'd like to get back into fabricating bumpers, rock rails, and other Jeep parts, but I haven't been able to find a supplier out here that actually has anything worth while, especially not round tube.
Any other fabricators out there have a good place to go?

Boulevard Sales. Jessup, I think. Maybe it's considered Laurel.
I was just looking for the same thing yesterday and they(Boulevard) looked like the only thing I could find in the Baltimore area too although I am certain there are more.

D&S Pipe and Steel. In the city... Wicomico St. I think. They have just about anything you need for steel supplies.

Metal SuperMarkets on GoldenRing Road off of Rossville Blvd in Essex. I go there for all of my DOM and metal needs. Great prices at least the best I have found in Baltimore

So I have now used two sources in the area. Boulevard Sales (http://boulevardsales.us/) has a decent supply, it's definitely an old-school place and their prices are a bit on the high end. The second is BMG Metals (http://www.bmgmetals.com/) which is a MUCH larger shop and has all kinds of stuff. There are a few things they're more expensive than Boulevard on, but in general they've seemed to be cheaper. I normally call both and get quotes over the phone and then decide on price. If you do contact them, make sure you ask for total price, including any cutting fees, vs. just the per-foot cost.
Boulevard does NOT have DOM tubing, BMG apparently can get it but I have't tried yet - been mostly dealing with square stock.
