If you blew outthe spiders. Throw a locker in? Me and my buddy have had great luck with spartans. Mines in the front his the rear. Drives fine, just makes a small amount of noise

did you damage the ring or pinion gear? if not you can throw either a lunchbox locker or new spider gears in without resetting any gears.

I see you have a dana 35 rear - they're also found in many XJ cherokees - the gears are the same as a TJ. Junkyards usually have many XJs to choose from.

Just moved to the Pasadena Area. Love it out here so far. I have seen a ton of Jeeps on the road. Lots of wave and almost all wave backs.

I chipped the spider gears I believe. It happened a while back an has been put off for sometime so I can remember exactly.

if anyone is looking for a good deal on a torque wrench Lowes has 3/8s drive that goes up to 150 ft lbs for $39 and a 1/2 drive that goes up to 250 ft lbs for $59. This was at the Lowes in columbia but I assume they all have it. great deal.
