I'm in the peoples republic of glen burnie.. I went to MSJ my freshman year..
Am I the only person who hates pamphlets/ads/business cards left on their vehicles? I don't go around touching other peoples vehicles, so keep your paws off mine.
Someone keeps leaving one on my parents van for headlight restore service.. I've been tempted to call them up and give em an fearful but I know it wouldn't do any good.
/rant.. sorry bout that.

Here are my thoughts. When there is a brochure that is put on my vehicle about crappy sales, a business, or some other sort of solicitation I don't like it either. But I encourage our members to put on a business card or brochure for our jeep club on a modified jeep or talk to the owner in person about the club. More or less get the word out about the club and to let other jeepers know that there is a support group locally.
What's your jeep look like? I can try to make sure they don't put anything on it.

I don't push our club on anyone but I'm with you. If I see a modified rig I drop my card in the windshield wiper. Just one on those things.....I love wheeling and I enjoy meeting people with the same pashion. So if your in Crofton, or around Andrews, or Fort Meade I'll drop my card!

yea historic tags = no inspection, no emissions. Although technically i don't believe you're allowed to run them on modified vehicles, that's what street rod tags are for.

Nobody cares that I have talked to that sees her. As long as she is registered and up to date the cops I speak with have better things to do. If I drive her on the street its just around town. She has been sitting for a few months and its about time to blow the dust off. I have huge plans for her in July and am hoping everything will fall in place. 5.3L LM7 Gen 3 Vortec, Rebuilt Turbo 350 Trans, 3.8:1 Atlas trans Case, Full hydro steering, and a partridge in a pear tree!

Re-checking in - I had some mild activity on the forum in November-ish, and I swear it looked like nobody ever posted in here, so I moved on. Came back today to see months and months of activity. Am I really just that dumb, or have things picked up around here?
Or both?

Wheeling season is picking back up so you'll see a lot of the forums that arent normally monitored/used being brought back up to speed trying to find guys to wheel with. If you want a regular/year round MD club with lots of members that get together regularly check out Maryland Jeeps/Element Offroad on Facebook.
