This thread is the #1 result on Google when I search "maryland ohv." I think it's pretty safe to say a lot of people have read it.

If you don't want me to be pessimistic then prove to me the ohv trails will be made. Until they are being built I will continue to hope for the best but plan for the worst. There's no point in getting excited just to get shot down.

I have no issue with you planing for the worst, that is fine, its just planing for the worst and vocalizing it on this thread is not needed. I am not going to post any more about it though, after this, do what you would like, I also mean no offense to you at all.

Did the survey.

Was this put out specifically because of the meetings that are going on or is it just now getting attention cause of that?

I'm not sure exactly why, but I would like to say that we are bringing attention to the state of Maryland. I have not seen a survey of this type in the two years I have been working with DNR, nor in the 16 years I have been wheeling 'in' Maryland.

I think it's great - hopefully it does somewhere...

The fact that it specifically addresses OHV trails is huge

I agree. I was hoping for more on public land use in general but I was glad to see Offroad vehicle use specifically.

Good website thank you. I am going to attend the central Maryland meeting, and see what is what. Plus it is very close to home.

Columbia is pretty far from me but I may make the haul down there. It's less far than rausch creek is! I'll just have to see what's going on that day for me.
