Flatty Fenders

Looking to buy the MCE fenders and wondering if any of the MD guys ever have problems with the law and flat fenders....

Basically which ones should I buy? The no flare, or the flared ones? The price almost doubles on the flared ones, but a couple of tickets with the non-flared would cover that

My tires currently stick outside my stock flares about 1.5" or so since they are 12" tires on a 10" rim.

A few of my buddies have tube fenders with a 3-3.5 inch flare and they haven't had any issues with getting pulled over by the cops. A couple of them have tires hanging out 3-4 inches past the flare.

We do a lot of flat fenders at adams jeep in Aberdeen. I can't say I've had any customers with issues.
