If you liked Adams you should definitely come to the York show. It actually reminded me of mini-York minus the camping.

I got a 709 which the guy said was good for leaf springs, that was the first time I've done an RTI ramp. Other than that I'm clueless.

Here's a decent link to read

Basicly it is a percentage of how far you traveled up the ramp compared to your wheel base.

D/WB x 1000 = RTI

distance from the base of the ramp to the center of the hub divided by your wheelbase multiplied by 1000 equals your score.

By going to longer front shocks I went from a 637 last year to a 810 this year.

Does the angle of the ramp matter? In the link I posted they mention a 20 degree ramp quite a bit but I don't think it's ever used in the formula.

20 degrees is usually the satandard, sometimes you will find a steeper ramp. Your RTI will be lower on a steeper ramp since you are climbing faster.

Here is another set of calculators.

Next year.

Anyway jeep was back in the shop for the final front end tweeking.

Added, an over axle highsteer track bar, and had the ORO U turn customized to raise the drag link.

I still don't see how RTI #'s can be translated into real world application.
