Normally people meet at the Atsion Ranger station and go from there. I wouldn't suggest going alone though as there are a lot of dead holes you don't want to spend the night in. There is the 11th Annual Pine Barrens Clean up taking place on October 28th 2012 at 9:00 AM. Would be a good chance to get out and explore the area.

Speaking of the last weekend of the month, you could swing down for this and make a full weekend of it with Jeepin For Josie on Saturday and the Cleanup on Sunday. Guys are showing up on Friday afternoon and maybe even doing a night run on Friday. Should be a good time

I'll be at the pines ran up with my brother in law. It's our first time out to Atsion, so I'm looking to hook up with a group who knows the way (and the holes I don't want to get into). I'm rolling in w a winch to help others (and myself) out. Anything else I can bring?

Was in Winslow Wildlife Management area tidy for a little light wheeling. Mostly dry, even after
The hurricane. Alot sandy. Some of the side trails are pretty tight. I scratched the **** out of the sides of the jeep. Oh well, time to wax it anyway. It should buff out most of them.
Went in off Piney Hollow Rd, tooled around for a bit, then went in again from Corkery lane. Not a bad way to get out for 2 hours.
