Wharton state forest is located in south jersey there's over 1200 acres with a lot of trails. The main point where people go in Wharton is the ranger station on 206 in shamong nj or carranzza memorial on carranzza road in tabernacle nj

Looking for a relatively close spot to LI for light off-roading where I can take my lil ones car camping in the woods. Wharton fit the bill?

Yes it does. First rule.. Don't go alone. There are a few of us who run almost every weekend there. Myself, push-my-button, the-navigator22, reehill.

^ yea that ice is rough, we went out last week and my buddy's front broke through the ice and took about an hour to get him out. its so thick, it got wedged behind the wheels and put a lot of stress on my winch/jeep/the tree i was ancored to, to get him out

but if you really do want to go out i could easily be persuaded into going out, i can take us down some trails where there isnt any ice. be about 2-3hrs worth of riding

hey, as of now we are going. looking to meet up around 10-10:30 and run for a few hours he has to back up north by 4. as i said with the ice its going to make things tough, so we will be avoiding all the pudles as much as we can but i still know a good run we can do

probably going to meet at the caranza memorial not entirely shore yet

ill confirm everything tomorrow
