I am currently from Long Island, but grew up in NJ and loved Stokes growing up. I would love to meet up with a few people if you are willing to show me around. Right after the Holidays sounds perferct for me, off from work for a week!!.

dont go most of the place is closed off. you cant get past the 4h camp place. its not worth it. i drove around for an hr trying to find stuff. and i got into a little mud bog which is frowned upon but after driving for hrs we had to do something.

they close the trails in the winter because they dont maintain the roads at all. they do it for safety and so noone gets stuck out there and cant get them. it will be back open in the spring.

you may find out about the thread a few weeks late, but this thread has been up for a LOOOOONG time, and there's always people headin up there so just keep an eye on it and jump in for the next outing.

check out a couple people on here have in their sigs highpoint mudslingers. they have a pretty good website and they post up when they are taking trips and although i havent been able to make any of their trips yet they are always open to having new people come,

stokes is a waste of time dirt roads, a semi mud pit, mild trails and its is so lame. sorry but stokes is a joke my awd car can run that place just go to rouch so much better
