OK4WD and Mud in the pines presents Monsters in the Mud
April 15th Island Dragway in Warren County
Get your 4x4s ready and your tow vehicles. I'm looking forward to this one. There's the mud bog, which for the smaller trucks will be passable and about 180 foot long. For the bigger trucks it will be about 250 feet long with a crazy deep hole at the end. There will be a burnout contest . 1/4 mile/1/8 mile drag racing. For those of you who are geared low and would be screaming in a 1/4 there will be 1/8 mile readouts as well. Get your tow trucks and see whos is nastier. I will probably not have my jeep ready for the mud bog, but I will race AND SPANK any other 6 cylinder jeep. Be wrangler, cj, cherokee, zj wj, jk. Give me the challenge and BRING IT!!!! Event t-shirts and other novelties will be on sale that day as well. This event is a fundraiser for Island Dragway that Scott from OK and myself have put togetehr and should be a different kind of show compared to New Egypt if any of yall have been there in the past.

yeah, it should be a good time. I can't wait it should be a really fun time. The design thaT WE'RE DOING ON THE MUD PIT SHOULD MAKE IT FUN FOR ALL. For the smaller trucks it's gonna be 180 foot with a NON flat bottom and a hill or two. after you hit the finish line you'll turn off. Now the big trucks will be in the same pit but instead of turning off they'll continue straight for a total of a 250 foot pit, within that last 70 feet of the pit there will be a nsaty hole about 36" to 40" deep of slop to make the guys on 44s and tractors really have to push their trucks to the limits.
You can count on me and Don being there hes building a big block now for the jeep and Im gonna try getting my p.o.s bronco going good. Are we gonna need drive shaft loops? If i drive out there and get turned around im gonna pissed.
I appreciate the offers. We are still organizing how were going to run the next event. I prefer not to have whole "clubs" help. I prefer to have people help. I should have an update on this soon. Thanks again, I really appreciate it.
