I like the 2 door XJ. I'm hoping to get my hands on one eventually.

Will, I could use skids for my Tacoma, 2007, would you be able to fab, do you need specs, because most off road parts come from west coast, and shipping kills us, if you can fab something or whatever and are local, I can bring you guys TONS of work, especially if the quality of welds and worksmanship is top notch.

As of right now we don't have a TIG machine for aluminum or the setup to run it on MIG. We haven't gotten a big response at all yet of any aluminum work, so spending 5k and up on a TIG setup isn't a priority. As for the skids, if you could show me an example and or provide measurements as to what you are looking for exactly, I'm sure I could give you a better idea on what we could do for you. How much is shipping usually for you for Toyota parts from the west coast? I can't see it outweighing labor for custom fab work, but you never know.

Get back to me in a PM when you can

Hey Jay,

You're pretty close to me. Im looking for someone to mod my trackbar axle mount on my 99 XJ. Stock front axle, but with my longarms when I flex the axle winds up resting on the trackbar limiting flex and I'm guessing eventually breaking the bar. I'll have to throw some limiting straps on after that probably.

It's an adjustable RC track bar with double shear mount on the frame side. I was wondering if this is something you guys can do?

I'll probably be re-gearing and locking soon as well (trying to decide between keeping my rear chrysler or swapping to d44) and have been looking for a shop I could trust in the area to do that as well.

BTW, that Mahwah ride, was it by Stag Hill? Some friends and I might be going up there in 2 weeks or so.

Thanks in advance!
Kevin.

congrats on the new shop location. I recall visiting your old location last year with my own little whip during a little get together.

as for the gentleman asking how Bimmers and Jeeps go together, it's somewhat common sense. You can't have a 500 whp BMW and expect it to get you to work when there is 18" of snow at your doorstep...trust me, I tried, it doesn't work! The best roads cars are complimented by the best go everywhere else rigs.

once again, congrats on the new location to the fellas at Auto Couture Motoring.
