That's a JK carrier. I have no idea on price for them, but I think the guy questioning things had a TJ.

After going through all this, your correct he had a TJ. I had a call right before hand about a JK guy having gear questions, apparently there was a mis-communication somewhere and some information was wrong. If the OP of said post I replied to wants a re-quote I will be more than happy to do so. I apologize for the error and hopefully this can all blow away lol.

BTW Eric- Hows the hand and such healed up, hope things are well on your side of the fence.

Jay did my lift and tires and I definitely did not get ripped off and the work was stellar. Very detail oriented and explained everything along the way. I actually saved money by getting everything through Jay as well. I know NJ is full of *******s but really no need to be a ******. Yes people own dogs and yes part of acor caters to BMW ricer tools but Jay knows his stuff on the 4x4 side. If you don't like the price, shut your piehole and go somewhere else.

Need a good laugh? Thread started by walpackhunter...

Obviously he/she should be riding the short bus instead of in an off-road vehicle.

Thank you Dan for backing us up!

As for Walpackhunter, please stop trolling our thread and calling out innocent people in cruel ways and wrongfully accusing them of actions you cannot prove. Keep it up and mods will be alerted and you will be banned.

Thanks for asking. Its been seven months and the healing continues. I'm really surprised how long it takes, although I guess have no benchmark for third degree burns and skin grafts. I think I will end up with scars but no loss of range of motion so it will be fine. Makes a good story, although would like to go back to NORRA 1000 this year and make the finish.

Burns not stopping me from getting back out there. Went to Johnson Valley for Thanksgiving week and spent a lot of good time in both driver's seat and passenger's seat of a few different Ultra4 cars. Was in a high speed multiple rollover in the desert but all good. I'll be driving a car in KOH in February so trying to get ready for that.

And for the record for everybody else, I've been very happy with the quality of work that Jay has done on my TJ. Real value added, non-bolt on, fab type work that turned out well. Happy to share pictures, answer questions, etc. if anybody considering taking their jeep to Jay.

Congrats on the Spec class spot! Cool to see a regular guy not from the opposite side of the country get a chance.

lol just the fact that he called their pits ugly is enough to make him a non-credible source. I have personally never had work done by Jay but I did take a tour of their shop when they first opened in Fair Lawn and could tell immediately that they were a great shop with passion behind every build. I sent my two buds Brian and Rick there to have their JK and TJ's lifted. The JK had a trackbar issue and Jay made it right very quick. I just called the other day about having my C's gusseted and they quoted me an average price but I know that they aren't going to rush through the job and fry my ball joints. Hell, I just might have them do the BJ's too while they're at it. Look, good shops are hard to find around here in North Jersey.. If I wasn't able to do most of my build on my own, then it would definitely be in their shop very often!
