Does anyone know of a good shop in NJ that does lifts and other modifications? I finally bought my first Jeep and am ready to get some work done.

First post eh? Welcome. I would suggest doing the lift yourself....and I suspect many others will agree. I just did mine and while I had some bumps in the road, with the help of this board you can get it done and learn a lot in the process...as well as saving COIN for other mods. Where in NJ are you?

Welcome :) .
Try OK4WD in Stewartsville. They've got an Open House event coming up this weekend too. Always a good time there. You can check out more info. about the event over on their site.

Like others have said, give it a try for yourself, I'm sure you would be able to find at least one board member that might assist you in installing a lift or some other bolt on accessories. I'm looking for a shop that has experience with swapping gears.

i'm in EHT if you need any help with it. If not, I know a lot of the guys at Best Tire in Ocean City have jeeps, I think about 5 of the guys there. I'm sure they could do it if you aren't comfortable. Let me know

NJXJ91, i'm always ready to work on some cars, or jeeps as it may be. I'm fairly new to the jeep thing, but i've changed suspension and much more other work in my other cars before and have a fairly decent amount of tools in my garage if you ever need some help, or anyone else in the area for that matter
