Sorry-just had to bust balls on that one... The high rise stations are in Asbury Park and Winslow. That said, I don't know anyone with a lifted vehicle who has ever done this. I'm pretty sure that unless you have a pickup lifted 18" rolling on 44s with Ratt blasting from your tape deck circa 1985 you can go through the regular inspection line without an issue. My truck is lifted 2" front and rear with 32" MTs and I went through inspection without a problem two months ago.
Nj only inspects for emission now. No longer safety etc. even tinted windows pass thru.
Wrong, call Winslow (Ancora) and schedule the lift test. They have a one month waiting list.
They will measure your rig first.
If it is no taller than last time, you will skip the ramp test but they will check for loose parts in steering linkage, etc.
Inspection is emissions only but if your vehicle is meets the requirements the state has set, it is supposed to have the stability inspection done. You can still just go and get an emissions test done but if you are pulled over and should have the papers but don't, you can get a ticket.

My guess is you'd have to get a cop on his worst day for that to happen. I live in Hunterdon County where practically every third truck/Jeep/SUV is lifted and I've never seen one of those purple stickers on one.
