Seems like someone will be getting a heavy fine - either you, or you and whoever helps you get out. If your starter is fried, you need a wrecker to tow you.

This is going to be an expensive lesson that shows how winches are worth thier weight in gold sometimes.

If you are on public land, and are not trespassing please post it - many more will offer help if they have piece of mind they will not get a fine.

Given that you don't seem to be able to say that you weren't tresspassing, I take it that you were. As I posted before I'm pretty sure I could have you out of there in a couple minutes, but not interested in tresspassing to do it. Good luck.

this is great, been in there for 20 days ! and with each day more ice forming around it. If you think that only your starter is bad wait till you get the bill from DEP for the clean up of the wet lands

**** him.

He's trespassing and giving all offroaders a bad name. Let them fine his dumb ***.

That is a 2 minute job with another Jeep or a winch. If you had wheeled legally, you would not be in the situation that you are in now because people would actually help. Hopefully the thousands of dollars in fines will teach you a lesson, that and all the repairs that will need to be done if they give you the Jeep back. Sitting in water for 3+ weeks is going to do a number on it.

Blair Dubois of Denville, NJ only signed up on here to get someone to rescue him from his illegal wheeling and trespassing. LOL.

Agreed, must be out by now.

I'd have paid the land owner to let buddies onto the area for a rescue.

this is why you do not go wheeling on somebody else property maybe just maybe he MIGHT learn a lesson here but doubtful. im sure hell be fined out the *** and his jeep might be taken from him. this is gonna be a real expensive lesson learned. plus u dont wheel alone!!!
