Hi guys, I have a 99 Cherokee Sport 4.0 I6 4wd. Dana 35 out back, looking for someone or a few people to help with my 3" RC Series II lift with rear springs. I live in Central jersey near Clinton. I dont know ANYTHING about suspensions, nor do I have the facility to do it (sloped 1 car width driveway at my parents house.) Ive gotten a quote from a few places, all being around $500. I'm not looking to spend nearly that much as I only paid $600 for the lift. I can throw you a little money, beer, pizza, whatever.
here's the catch, I'll have to come to you, and this is my DD, so if anyone has somewhere you can do it, and thinks they can get it done in a day or weekend, that would be GREAT! all I ask is that you PLEASE know what you're doing. this is my baby, and if i could afford it, she would be going to a shop. I dont have a sh*t ton of rust, I also picked up the new bolt on shock mounts in case they break. i'm going to start hitting everything with PB this weekend. I'm ready whenever you are.
Let me know if you can help me out, feel free to PM me.
thanks a bunch
wish it was that easy for me. I wouldnt even know how to jack it up to be COMPLETELY honest. and I know I couldnt do it in a weekend. if someone even has or works at a shop, I'd be willing to pay it as a side job.
My garage/shop is in Tabernacle or my buddy's shop is in Hopewell. I'll talk to him and figure out a quote. Currently there's a yj in there were doing a 4" RC lift, engine, and trans in though. Should be out of there next week.
half the fun of owning a jeep is doing the work on it, if your folks allow you to do the lift in the driveway it can very easily be done in a few hours with hand tools and the knowledge gained would be of great help in the future, plus you have the pride of saying that you built it.I`m sure there would be plenty of people including me who would help out a new jeeper.
ah,beer the cause of and cure to all of lifes problems ...Homer J Simpson... I am the guy in the red jeep!
