Axle help in Clifton NJ 07003

He guys I have 2000 GC and the rear is humming I took it off the road I'm thinking of maybe keeping it but I don't know Jack about Gears or axle and I need someone to have a look at it I'll compensate for your time just PM me.

Check your fluid levels. If you can hear a noise while driving that is consistant with speed, not RPM's, coming from your rear then you probably need a bearing job. A shop will charge you around $250 parts and labor.

What axle? Might just need some spider gears. Is it open diff or LSD?

Ya pull the diff cover if you haven't and check for metal jack up the rear (tires off the ground) and spin the tire while lookin inside. ....tell us what happens. A humming noise could be a few things u joints brake or differential. Let us know what you find
