Hey ladies and gentlemen....some friends and I are thinking about going to
Beasley Knob sometime in the next few weeks...I have never been and still some what green to being an off road driver. I'm wanting to take my jeep which is a 2004 Rubicon with a 3" body, 4 " suspension, and I'm running 37x12.50 Super Swamper TSL Radials. This is my daily driver....is there any areas that we need to stear clear of? I don't have a winch or rock sliders yet. Noticed I said yet . Thanks for the help

I think "Blue Rock" is one of the more challenging trails.

BTW Dave, I'm just north in Adairsville. Work at the steel mill in Cartersville.

yep stay away from Blue Rock and Rattle Snake Hill. You will know it when you see them. Most of Beasley is up and down dirt hills (long steep hills) with a few rocks or rock faces on them. The two trails I talk about will have bigger rocks, ledges, wash outs, ect. I did it in my stock 07' Rubicon but I did it coming down the trails and I am a pretty seasoned 4x4 driver.

Hey Dave I thought I reconized your description of your jeep, cause I've looked at it up close here at work. A guy named Jeremiah drove it in one day. That's a nice jeep man, you shouldn't have any problem at Beasley.

The J'man

Yeha I let the J'man drive it one day to work. I have never really pushed that thing to see what it can do so that is what I'm looking to do I just don't want to dive in over my head. It will probably be later on like September when we go, your welcome to come with us if you want.

now that I think about it being Labor Day weekend it could be crowded. I mean I doubt it as Beasley is never crowded but it is a holiday weekend...

Very true there Jeremy. I'm heading up that way this Friday but not for trail riding. Taking a few friends up to Helton Creek to go swimming and be the delinquent teenagers we are. If any of you are gonna be up that way Friday though let me know. Maybe we can all go as a group.
