Hopefully I can attract enough attention quickly.

I'm gonna be up in Northwest CT (Kent) on Thursday and wanted to know if anyone had some good legal spots to just go play around in some snow? I do know of an old quarry down by Gaylordsville off of Rt 7. Thanks in advance.

i think i know the quarry your talking about right off rt 7 on the left...it still has a big metal shed and ive seen people riding dirt bikes but theres a gate now.

Hmm, 2 years ago when I was back there, there was no gate. Damn, oh well.

the gate went up this summer.....i don't think it was due to people riding dirtbikes but illegal dumping. i went in once when there was some people riding to see if i could ride my dirtbike there but i got the friend of a friend story.

Ahh, that's unfortunately what I was thinking. State police never cared when we were back there and were just happy that we weren't trespassing on other people's property. Well, shucks.

I just said it to piss you off and it worked! That's why some people don't post places on line ware there going so there's not a cop waiting at the trail .

new member on the forum from groton here, stationed in groton at least. gotta love no leagl places to go anywhere in the realm of close by. i currently have a almost stock khaki rubicon and a cj2a project thats nearing completion. with my out to sea schedule i'm hardly ever here, but when i am i do enjoy some light trail riding or organzied road trips. i enjoy the many state parks for rambling around aimlessly. pm me if ya want to head out sometime
