Lumpyd, I see you're from Waterford. I'm a BOD member of JT4x4. We are based out of Groton, Waterford, Norwich area and have members in Colchester and other places. We do monthly meetings, monthly trailrides and a lot of other get togethers throughout the year. Some places are public, but we also have a couple private properties right in our area that we wheel. I've never met anybody from BB Offroad yet, but they are another good club that's about 1.5 hours or so south of us.

There are clubs around if you look for them.

Roger

PS to myself. I really need to come to the regional area more often.

Not many events with public invites. If you want to wheel you need to join a club and then you'll find events through the club. My club is JT4x4 in Eastern CT with members all over Colchester, Groton, Norwich, Ledyard, etc. and we have meetings the first Tuesday of each month, trailrides the 3rd Saturday of each month and when the weather gets warmer we go to car shows with our rigs or set up in parkings lots at AutoZone and other places that will allow us to display our rigs. There are other clubs around also, but I don't know how they schedule. Here's a link to our website if you're interested. Actually have a meeting tonight in Waterford.

Cool stuff, but wrong thread. Try general discussion

I never make the same mistake twice - it's more like three or four times.

ZJ owner from northeastern CT

hey all, just found this section after being on here for a couple weeks. I've got a 98 ZJ 4.0L and now a 97 ZJ 4.0L that will be taking its place after a tranny repair/rebuild.
