The trails that I'm talking about are a combination of fire trails, walking trails, and power lines within a state park. My grand cherokee is stock with 255/65-17 street tires so I stay away from the deeper stuff that required lift and meatier tires, but there are definitely more complicated trails within while being legal. They all show up on the GPS too.
I agree, I have a few that I use regularly , while running into law enforcement, and they have confirmed that these trails are legal for registered vehicles to be on. All of the trails that I go on are connected to other legal state trails in RI, which are also legal trails maintained and patroled by DEM.
I ran into a group of guys on the powerlines close to the CT/RI line behind george washington this past Monday. Stopped and chatted with a couple of them for a few minutes before moving on, just wondering if any of them are on here. White wrangler, white chrokee, red chevy (square body), and a four wheeler.
I wheel those trails all the time. Pulaski. Its a good spot to put around.
That place is literally 2 miles from where I live. We use to go every Sunday but the past couple weeks we haven't.
That's funny. I grew up in Burrillville so I grew up on the power lines and behind Goerge Washington. We go out every so often, usually just me in me stock wj with my wife and kids. Let me know if you wanna go some time. Where do you enter?
It's kinda short notice but there are a few guys from another forum meeting up tomorrow the 12th at Southford Falls in Oxford/Southbury CT. The time isn't official yet but I think it's 10 or 11am. I will update this later tonight for anyone who may want to swing through. As of now there 2 SRT's, a supercharged WJ, lifted WJ and a WK. Nothing to big just a small get together. PM me if you need any details, hope to see some of you there.

Hey Luke, I have a good friend that lives in Plymouth.
I finally lifted the jeep after owning her for 10 years. I have yet to get her dirty. I need to replace the AC compressor before I can head out. Sounds like shot bearings or clutch. Hoping I can take her out once I replace the compressor.
