Ring/pinion change

Can anyone recommend a reliable, reasonably priced shop in the Trumbull, CT area that can perform ring and pinion changes?

Define "reasonable".

You are looking at $400-$500 per axle for labor to pay somebody that actually knows what they are doing.

You are in Clayton's neighborhood. Give him a call.

That's just it; I don't know what "reasonable" is, and appreciate feedback like yours to help me define it. So far, I have quotes ranging from $1200-$1500 labor for both axles.

Thanks, and I will give Clayton's a call today.

That is a bit far...about a 3.5 hour round trip. I appreciate the post, though!

FWIW my shop charge $500 an axle for regearing. For a quality job we think that is more than reasonable, so a $1200 for labor for both axle doesn't sound like a bad deal.

Try SVE Performance in East Haven, CT SVE Performance
