Off Road Lessons in CT

Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a predicament and I'm hoping you can help me out! My brother bought his Jeep a couple years ago and is basically in love with it - I'm sure you know how that goes. He's getting married this year, so I thought for his wedding present I'd buy him off-roading lessons, since he's mentioned he's always wanted to do that.

The problem is, these are harder to find than you might think! The only place I found in CT that offers them is Overland Experts ( http://www.overlandexperts.com/ ) and they're a little expensive. Does anyone have suggestions for other places? Alternatively, would anyone go in on a group at OEX with me? If I can find three people that'd say yes, it'd be $175 each according to the price quote in the email I got.

Thank you all in advance for your help.

He should try joining a club it really isn't expensive and gives you legal access to some great trail runs, there aren't many locations in CT however, a lot of these trail runs happen in Mass, NH and some in Vermont. Then you can pick a easy run to get yourself familiar with what you and your jeep can do and be with a group of guys who will help out. Good Luck!

Yeah aside from the money bleeding out of your pockets into the jeep, joining any of the great NEA clubs will get him the seat time he needs for about 50-100 bucks a year in club dues. check out http://nea4wd.org/
I will put a plug in for Baystate Jeepers. We do a few runs near the CT border and are a family friendly club.

You can also buy him a Jeep Jamboree ticket for either Bethel or Killington... that can be expensive though and they tend to sell out fast and dont go on sale until December or so.

Get him a Club membership! It's the gift that keeps on giving.
