Help with rocker replacement

I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction or a compitent welder in the hartford area. I started to replace my rockers on my cherokee on my truck with 3/16 2x6 box steel was goin great untill my buddies welder crapped out and then he flaked out on me. I currently have the metal tack welded onto the truck but I need it finish welded and caped. I started this project over a week ago and the longer I look at this unfinished the more upset I get. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
