We saw that and laughed!

Great event today. There had to be 500 Jeeps out there if any.

Not a bad time. I waited waaaay to long for the rock garden, only to see that it was really, really hard this year, and I had my 4-year old with me, so I did like only the first 1/3 of it for his sake, and bailed out before anythign even close to hard. Crap, I should have just gone for it.

If you were there, OK, but don't go by the pictures, you can't see the hard part at all. Everything I saw go through, aside from a full-boat rock buggy got pretty well stuck. Winches and a loader with forks were how most got out, and these were some well-equipped rigs, not a 1-locker Scrambler on 33" ATs.

Here is a crummy video I took of a nice JK going through the rock garden. You can see the full rock garden.

YouTube - 2010 Great American Jeep Rally

I heard that by 11:30 they had 650 Jeeps. They were estimating 1000 Jeeps for today. There were a lot of nice rigs. Hope you all had fun, we did!

Here are some other pictures and our rigs in the last pic.

I was hoping to see some more custom trucks. There were a lot of nice rigs that were way too clean to be wheelers. I had fun watching the rock garden but the 2hr ride made me not take my half door, no sway bar, bias tire rig. Hopefully next year I will take my jeep to beat up that rock garden. We need more ZJ's! I only saw maybe 5 and at least 3 were stock lol

yeah i was in the evb convoy, yeah i realized it was a bad idea once i got on the highway, i couldnt get warm for the rest of the day. it was fun though, my cousin fell asleep on the way back, and this dude in a car seen he was hunched over sleepin got up next to me and laid on the horn and scared the hell outta my cousin, that made it all worth it.

haha yeah. when we rollin down 84 had maybe 10 t0 15 people in front of me, including the guy from evb (forgive me i dont know there names havent had a reason to go there yet), but then to look in the rear veiw and there was like 20 plus i think, yeah i would consider a 1/4 mile plus of rolling jeeps pretty epic lol, how many were there total in the evb convoy?
