Go Topless Day, in May

May 8th is the "All Things Jeep" sponsored "Go Topless Day," and I'll be (weather permitting of course) driving up from mid-Connecticut.

I thought it might be fun if any or all of you who are going, could get together and we could all ride up at the same time. It would be an impressive sight to see on the highway..........100 topless Jeeps, cramming up the highway.......lol.

Anyone interested in a group ride up to Massachusetts on May 8th, please let me know. (soupy1957@yahoo.com). I'm sure we could find a common spot in the middle of the state to meet up.

Here's a link to the event: http://www.allthingsjeep.com/go-topless-day.html

Cya there!!

Badassbabe98: Not sure really........I was simply going to plug the address into my GPS, and follow IT'S directions. However, having said that..........here are the routes that seem logical:

91 North to CT-15N
CT-15N to I-84E
I-84E to the Mass Pike (Route 90E)
Mass Pike to 290E
290E to I-190N
I-190N to MA-2E (Exit 8B toward Boston)
MA-2E to Exit 35, (toward Rt 70)
Rt 70 toward Lancaster/Lunenburg
Slight right on to Old Union Turnpike
Left on Lunenburg Road / MA 70

I think I'd likely go with my GPS on "Least Use Of Freeways" for the frigg of it!!

I will be heading up as well. Went last year and had a blast. Now I have my lift on and should be able to have a bit more fun on the course.

Oh and I live in East Hartford so 84E to Mass Pike

I will be there, and we have a caravan of about 8 jeeps going up.

I was there last year and it was such a good day. It started out overcast and sprinkled a little on the way up but then it cleared up and was warm and sunny. There were a lot of jeeps there. Im really looking forewards to it this year.

However Im not looking forewards to the drive up in my 2.5 low output jeep on 32's. Last year I drove my 99' cherokee which has no problem on the highway. I dont wheel that one though so hence why the YJ is going this year!

Nice! The track was pretty good last year, it was a nice addition to just having the regular show and shine the first year. I got a feeling the event is just going to keep growing each year anyhow, which is awesome!

Im pretty sure we are going to be part of a group coming down from Gardner Mass again this year but we'll see. Last year there were 3 of us and we took backroads so that itd be a nice ride. If not gardner it'll be from Rutland.

If anyone is around either area or their travel route crosses ours and you want to meet up for a huge convoy let me know

I can't exactly go topless but I will be heading up anyway. It will be my first year and I hope to see some sick jeeps and cool ideas
