if your looking for a legal trail, you wont find any. CT sucks the big one when it comes to off roading and OHVs. your best bet would be to join a local club because they usually wheel on their own private properties or have permission to be where ever it is that they go.
other than that, the only way you have a chance of not getting a ticket is to use google maps and find roads that go through woods. technically by some law made before i was born, you can drive on any road that isnt gated, blockaded or posted as no trespassing, so if your there with a map that shows there being a road and there isnt anything stopping you from going in, your pretty much good and those are "far and few in between "
