any first year snow jeepers?

So CT just got hit with like 14" of snow and this was the first time I got to see how my 5.9 ZJ did in the snow... and it did GREAT! It is a big change from a front wheel drive mazda 6 that i had last winter. Did anyone else get to have fun in their jeeps for the first time?

not sure about the awd ones but my chevy 4x4 is a beast in the snow also... the jeep is a whole different kind of fun though

the 4x4 chevys are good... the awd ones suck (i.e. eqinox) the power gets transfered to all 4 wheels 1 at a time so you basically have a 1x4 lol

I had fun. Went out last night then tried to get out and had a hard time getting through the snow that was up to my bumper on my 4.5" lifted XJ.

First time driving in the snow period. When I was driving around there was maybe 6'' on the road and 2WD could leave you in a ditch real quick but in 4WD I was unstoppable(on the roads). Me and a friend were the only ones cruising around the streets until we met up at the spot where we went sledding and were greeted by another Jeep
About 16-18'' fell total

It didn't seem that deep...

Got 30 inches in my area, the thing was like a tank. (33's with a 4 inch lift) It just blasted through everything. Good times!

2nd year in the snow here. I got totally punked by the snow last night though. My city had (maybe still has?) a stretch of back highway that was unplowed... so naturally my friend and I thought we were awesome enough to wheel right on through it. I made it about halfway down the stretch before a snowdrift got the best of me and I lost traction completely lol. A good half hour of screwing around and I was finally able to get out. Kind of embarrassing but it was still pretty fun

Stocked full of hopes and dreams ;)

Getting stuck is part of wheeling in the snow. That's why its a good idea to be with a group and carry tow straps. Less time stuck, more time getting stuck . . .

First time with my yj this year in CT. My tires are crap but I still 4x4ed everywhere lol. There is no better feeling than chugging up a hill covered in snow. Not sure how much we got but it was enough to shut down my work, which im told never happens it was craptastic out there yesterday!
