The 2011 season is ramping up quickly. Here are some photos from our May trail ride and our quarterly business meeting:

And a couple more from this weekend's trail maintenance work:

Our first camp-n-wheel of the season was held the weekend of June 24-26 in Southern NH and a great time was had by all.

Carnage consisted of two broken axle shafts, a steering box broken from the frame, and miscellaneous dents. One of the axles took the ball joints when it snapped:

Here's a sampling of photos from the event. Rain the night before made the already difficult trails that much more interesting:

The season is still young and the best is yet to come. If you are in the Southeastern New England area and want to get out on the trail then check us out.

OSJ attended the Whaling City Festival & car show in New Bedford last weekend. It always amazes me to see a field full of meticulously restored muscle cars but everybody gathers around to ogle stacked Jeeps that are all beat up. Congratulations to John who took third place in the Jeep category. Back on the trail next weekend.

Here are some pictures from our July 17th trail ride. This was at one of the easiest properties that we run and was suitable for the less built vehicles in the club:

We will be at the Mass Cruisers car show at Patriot Place in Foxboro on the evening of July 28th and anybody is welcome to come hang out with us.

Our next trail ride is the weekend of August 6-7 at private property in Southern NH that offers what could be the best wheeling in New England. If you don't have plans that weekend and want to come out then all you need to do is introduce yourself on our forum and e-mail in an application. Its really that simple.

A group of us from Ocean State Jeepsters joined our closest friends from the regional wheeling community the weekend of Sept 10-11 for the Northeast Association of 4-Wheel Drive Club's annual Fall Crawl in Southern NH.

Sixteen trails, over one hundred rigs, and over three hundred people makes for a guaranteed great time. I just wish that guy with the moonshine hadn't shown up at 2:00 am . . .

Our campsite:

A little carnage:

Out on the trail:

A group of us from Ocean State Jeepsters along with our friends from Ronin Wheelers and BHORA participated in The imPOSSIBLE Dream's Touch-a-Truck event last weekend.

The imPOSSIBLE Dream is a local charity that serves chronically ill children and Jeeps are always a big hit with the kids.

Sure, we like to wheel but giving back to the community is also important and we would like to see more of you at events like this in the future.
