Beaches?

Hey everybody, new in town up here for business. (I met a couple of ya last time I was up here )

I was wondering, is it legal anywhere in RI or CT to drive on the beach? I would think it highly unlikely but a couple of guys that have been here a little longer than I have swear they saw a Wrangler on the sand on the southern shores of the Ocean State.

Thoughts??

East Beach is best. During the summer months you can only drive on the trails behind the beach and not the beach itself. Right now you can drive on the beach. But the last time I was there it was still a little messy from the storm back in Nov.
