You know not to talk about illegal wheeling, but you go ahead and ask anyways?

The reason why its gated is because its illegal to wheel there.

Area clubs and the Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs have obtained legal access to many different private properties. Clubs in your area include South Shore Wheelers, Cape Cod Jeep Club, and USA Jeep Owners. Check them out.

Actually there is a need for hostility! :flipoff: Illegal wheeling only makes land access tougher! You are giving ammunition to the groups that are shutting things down for us!

Access to private properties is typically via scheduled club runs. Typical group size is 5-15 rigs. In order to minimize impact clubs are normally limited to 1-2 runs on each property per year. Your friend should join as well.

There was a time when there was a lot of members on a club run, but now there are more clubs so the groups are smaller.
yes There are some public land (roads) that you can go back with a friend
