Hey, I'm from Wakefield Ma and per MA laws no Vehicles over 1000lbs are allowed on "Legal" OHV trails.. I usually off-road near power lines but it's illegal and can fined for trespassing if your caught
Here's a link to MA's website regarding Off-roading
Department of Conservation and Recreation

Since this place is such tight-a$$es about off-roading i tend to go to NH.
Heres a link to a couple NH town maps that have Registered Class VI trails open to public (which are legal)

Ya joining a club is the way to go in MA since most Legal trails are privately owned and require permission from the land owner

not to mention the clubs promote safe LEGAL WHEELING and in doing so help keep what we have left. check out www.nea4wd.org for a list of clubs and find one that fits you.
