Locker install

Purchasing a locker probably in the next few weeks to go in the rear of my JKU, leaning towards a yukon zip. Looking for a reasonable and recommended shop around my area to install. I've heard of mitchell diff. in shrewsberry but thats about 2 hours away, and if possible I'd like to stay closer to the south shore.

Thanks for any help
Sean Mack

Most Jeep dealers can do it.

I've always gone through Mitchell; most recently just a few weeks ago. Bring them just the axle and they will turn the job around quick for a reasonable price.

I'd prefer a specialized shop rather then the Jeep dealers. That being said, I wish I could just take the axle out and drop it off but unfortunately its my DD so thats a no-go. I emailed mitchell I'll see what they respond with. Thanks for the info.

37" tires I would also think about upgrades to your Dana 30 front end
such as chomemolly shafts.

already in the plans, along with hopefully a truss in the near future.

Elias in Townsend is likely further away than Mitchell. Maybe look toward CT or RI?

If you haven't done this yet, you can try Bob (formerly of Bay State Off Road) he still does some work on the side (in Marion, MA). He may be able to help you...bobsiwinski@verizon.net

Elias is worth the drive and time. Owner is in house and reliable small shop but they really do things right over there.
