Just moved to Boston, registered, now need inspection.

Hey all, i moved down from Maine for a new job and am living in somerville. I just got the jeep registered today. So i have a week to get it inspected. Maine's inspection laws are nuts compared to MA i think. But no matter what, I need to get some stock rubbers on my jeep. i was going to shop on c's list for some to throw on but does anyone around have some that would pass and that i could borrow? and my other question, is there a shop in the area that's more friendly with 4x4s? Thanks guys and gals!

Pictures? Are the tires covered? You could be fine as-is.

They're 3" tnt custom flares. so the tread sticks out about 1.75"... the back isn't too bad at all. I just dont want to go in somewhere and pay $30 to be failed. So if getting tires is the way to go then i'll go that route.

in MA, unless you are at a friendly shop, tread outside the fenders will fail.

And there aren't a lot of friendly shops because of stings.

If you can find someone that has street tires on rims with the same bolt circle, that would be the thing to borrow.

...tot

PS: Ah, Somerville.. Did live there for a few years.. but then I escaped
