I'm thinking about it. My club (OSJ/NEA4WD affiliated) has a run scheduled in that neighborhood the following weekend. I'm checking if there is interest in rescheduling to coincide with the Florida Vacation. Sounds like a good time.

You know I'll be there!

One of the cool parts is all the different people being there. It's not just Jeeps! So you'll have someone with a stock toyota pickup. A toyota pickup with half doors made from old toyota doors, a full exo skelly and 36's. You'll see a Bronco that you wouldn't know it was one if it didn't have the side badges posted into the floor of the interior by the seats... Just a tube frame where a bronco used to be! How about FJ 40's? Classic 4x4s from the past, to the latest FJ cruisers lifted 6" with 35s! And the coolest part?

They're all there for the same thing. A passion for off roading, and a gathering of like minded people. It gets no better than that to me!

I'm psyched! I just have to contain myself to not break my rig the month before! :P

Anyone have pics from last year ?

I think I forgot to mention, this is in Mass, not Florida in the title. Unfortunately, I can't change the topic subject to do it! /sigh

Jack requirements

Ive seen bottle jacks, stock jacks, high lift jacks, rolling floor jacks, everything. The key is, it needs to work for your ride to swap out a tire, so you're not "that guy" out in the woods.

It's no big deal, if you come prepared, but bringing the stock jack while running 44" tires would be a bit silly!

What's the refund policy on this? My buddy and I want to go with our junk, but we're not 100% sure that everything will be ready to go by mid-July.

Sorry on the delay on my post, life's been hectic! I asked about the refund policy - 50% refund up to 2 weeks prior to the event, no refunds after the 2 week point due to reservations & food commitments.

I'm so psyched to go! There's updates on the site too - They're going to have an RTI Ramp!!! I've never had a chance to put my rig on one!

Don't miss out, I'll see you there!

Bump to the top for the awesome event.

Can't make it this year as I have some date conflicts but I promised a few guys from Eastern 4 Wheelers that I'd promote it as much as I can.

I've gone for the last 5-6 years and it's, by far, the best offroad event put on by a single club in this region. You get a lot for your money here and the private land that they have access to is quite diverse and challenging.

Wish I could make it but I'll give a little to all the people that I've wheeled with at the past events.

Letter from the president

Well, it's an email, from the President of Eastern 4 Wheelers, I thought I'd share with you guys:

Quote:
HEY, EVERYONE!

Don't forget to mark your calender for July 16-18th, 2010 because you'll
want to be in the Berkshires!

We still have a few more spaces for you to come out and have a great weekend
of wheeling, eating and being outside! The Oxbow hotel is almost full for
that weekend but there's still plenty of room for you at the campground!
Our fantastic menu is lined up for Saturday night, the Chef Allen is ready!
Our sponsor-hunters and raffle organizers are excited to be able to hand out
a great spread of stuff to you, but only if you come up to Mass for the
weekend! We've got a Superwinch, and a GC for Mickey Thompson Tires, Hi
Lift Jack, Milemarker winch stuff, an Optima Battery, Masterpull winch rope,
Pull Pal, Clayton, and lots of other stuff too!

The Deal: Like no other, can't beat this with a stick! $85 for the
driver/rig for 2 nights of camping could be this much alone! You add
prepared and catered meals, wheeling, t-shirt, raffle prizes, and hanging
out together to that and you're talking MONSTER DEAL! As a passenger it's
only $50 and kids 2-11 are only $15!

It's less than a month away, sign up while you can!

Print out the form and send it in soon, or just pay with Paypal!

E4W - Florida Vacation

Hope to see you there!

Dave Spence, President, Eastern 4 Wheelers
