Wharton State Forest Mid December Ride

Planning on a mid december ride to wharton. Anyone interested? I already have a few buddies tagging along to come. Mostly likely be a weekend.

I may be interested. Depending on if my Jeep is back together or not by then.

Let me know a date, and I could most likely go.

what dates you have in mind that would work for you? i also have a few buddies i told today .

BriansCJ 11-29-2010 04:04 PM

The 19th would be the best for me. Hopefully it would give me enough time to get my Jeep together.

i cant do fridays as im still in school, only weekends are good for us to go. what will u running and what recovery supplies do you carry?

BriansCJ 11-29-2010 04:29 PM

The 19th is a sunday in december, you must be looking at a November Calendar.

If I go, I will be running the XJ in my sig. I carry a small Jack, Hi-Lift, shovel, straps and D rings, some fluids, Socket set, hand tools, D35 axle shafts, duct tape, and some heater hose.

oh your right about looking at the wrong month, is there any other days that is a weekend that is good for you?

TheStigX 11-29-2010 05:01 PM

I might attend. I don't have the money to be fixing everything that breaks on this Jeep so we shall see....

Where are you from BJ?

bjdstt247 11-29-2010 05:07 PM

monmouth co, u? Come along i have trucks and maybe one or two land rovers coming.

TheStigX 11-29-2010 05:15 PM

About 15 minutes outside Atlantic City. Are you one of those people who are up to try anything? This is what happened to the last WJ that went out with us  Ended up getting mud in his tranny and screwed something up. Make sure you have your breathers raised, ESPECIALLY ON YOUR TRANNY. I think I have mud in my trans but its a manual so its not as bad but I haven't driven it since I went wheeling.

You also have BriansCJ in the background

so basically i need a put a breather on my tramissions? What is the water depth that you must do this?

TheStigX 11-29-2010 05:52 PM

The photo I posted was all that was needed. I would guess that if you keep moving, you MIGHT be good.
