Suggestions for YJ restoration in Maine
I have a 1990 Islander with 370K miles that I am interested in restoring. I've had her 22 years and want to keep her going. She needs a new engine and some body work and who knows what else.. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to have the work done in the Maine area? Thank you! :)

Hi - thank you for responding. I am still interested in finding someone to take on this project. This is my primary car. She's got a 258 with 120K on it, original automatic tranny and some rust issues. I was thinking of taking a video of it to give an idea of the work that is needed. Want to get her as close to original as possible. Can I send you the video once I take it? Thanks! :) Jim

What kind of work do you need done and where are you located? Just did a complete frame swap on my TJ, I'm willing to help.

Feel free to email me.

Give me an idea of your time frame and budget if you can... Where in Maine are you?
