All Wheels Offroad park in Lewiston is good, I hear good things about Rocky Mountain Terrain park in Carthage, then there are local clubs that have established relationships with landowners to allow trail usage.

For anyone near the Lewiston/Auburn area, Maine 4x4 is hosting the "Turkey in the Mud" event at Allwheels.

We're meeting at 4x4groupbuy starting at 9am with a potluck style breakfast/lunch with some prizes to be given out then we're convoying for the park for an afternoon of wheeling.

Everyone is invited!!

It's tomorrow so it's short notice, I wish I frequented Jeepforum more than I do these days, could have posted it sooner.

It sure is. Several from our club went out Saturday. On any given Sat or Sun you'll see some fairly large groups out there. $10.00 per rig is the suggested "donation". 50 Old Farm Road, Lewiston, ME.

Stop by Maine4x4.org if you get a chance and think about joining a local club. We have a large non-club event that is going to All Wheels, April 26th. Meeting at 4x4 Groupbuy in Auburn.

3rd Annual Rocky Mtn Terrain Park Jeep Event

Come on out and join Penobscot County 4WD next weekend June 29, 30th, and July 1st for some great Jeeping at Rocky Mtn Terrain Park in Carthage, ME. Trails for all levels. 2 mud runs. Sand track. Ravines. Trenches. Rocks of all sizes to crawl on the trail, as well as a rock garden. Elevated log bridge (test your cohones). Mountain top views. Great(though primitive) camping. Family event, so bring the kids.

John (the owner) also has rates for the weekend where he will cook for you! Trust me, you wont go hungry.

For more information check us out at PV4WD.com

or check out the park at RMTP.us

Wicked Hillz in China is now open! A bunch from our club went out last Sunday, I had to work. Looked like some pretty knarly terrain.

RMTP in Carthage, ME is fun. A couple mild trails, some good moderate stuff, and some real pucker factor trails as well. Should Deep is a rock climb that is nothing but boulders. The creek underneath has washed out all of the dirt so if you drop something into the rocks you'll be shoulder deep trying to find it. Good camping too.

All-Wheels is always a good time. Much bigger park in terms of usable trails. Mild to wild for sure. Only ten bucks per vehicle and its close to the city of Lewiston. I believe Don has close to 400 acres.

I've only been to Wicked Hills once, last December, and it certainly has potential. Not too many trails as of then, but what he had was fun. A bit icy when we were there which made steep descents interesting
