Thanks for the response. The brakes are definitely on the list of getting upgraded. They do fine for now, but a dual master cylinder will add to the safety factor greatly. After some time will this behemoth, I've been refining my list of upgrades. Brakes are number one closely followed by wheels. I want to lose the split rings, and have the ability to run tubeless. I'm not sure if I will be having custom wheels built for the stock axles or getting different axles completely. There are a lot of benefits that go with different axles. I'm not really concerned with the resale value. I got mine at a good price, and if I was to restore it (to mil spec) it'd cost way more than what I could sell it for. It has already been modified by a fire department so I'd rather just add enhancements to it to make it more useful to me. I have located a shop in town, and plan on speaking to them more in depth about future possibilities with the truck.
