Wheeling near Geneva, NY

Hey guys Im from the Philadelphia area and am going to college up in Geneva, NY. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any LEGAL wheeling spots near Geneva, or any of the finger lakes. Thanks

We do. It's just that there aren't many places to go. I know a few places near Corning and Back Country 4 Wheelers is having a meet south of Bath on 10/10. Look up Whispering Pines. It is an off road park and hunting preserve just N of the thruway on 14 toward Lyons. Also check with The Most Active 4x4 Club In Western New York! : Fingerlakes 4x4 if you are interested in the Corning locations, let me know and I will send you lat and long.

Whispering Pines is a decent little place to ride around on, not a ton of really challenging stuff, very stock friendly, etc. Back Country 4 Wheelers is a blast, lots of obstacle courses, mud bogs, small trail rides, etc. Closer to Buffalo we have a Dunn Tire raceway that has offroad events every few weeks, it's a pretty good time. You could hit up Fingerlakes 4x4, as well as Western New York Offroad (WNYOffroad Inc. - The Off-Road Club Of Western New York!). Lots of good people and events going on all the time.

Here is a place to go:42.290644,-76.988633 to 42.317019,-77.034166. I went at it from each end and didn't want to try the mud hole alone. Nice trail and legal.

Loading those coordinates into google maps should get you there. Where are you coming from?

Just go south on 14 to Watkins Glen. Bear right on 414 (there will be a Pizza Hut on the left) and climb up the hill. Turn right at the light toward the track and just keep going. You will reach the west end of Chambers Rd in a little less than 10 miles. Paste this into Google. Let me know what you think.

It does not seem to work on google maps on my iPhone however. Like before Chambers rd is 9.5 miles from the light at the top of the hill where 414 crosses County rt 16. Let me know if you need better directions.
