Lj Two Track Roads in the Adirondacks

Hey All,

My wife and I are planning a mini vaca in the Adirondacks this July.
I was wondering if there's any maps with two track/old town roads available?

We live in Vermont and would like experience the inner beauty of this region.

Thanks,
Carlo

Carlo, good luck. New York State has done a fantastic job of closing old logging roads and is very anti-OHV use.

Your best bet will be to ask some of the locals when you get there.

a little late on a reply for you but. the mooseriver rec area located in town of inlet ny .has about 30 miles of seasonal roads running thru the adks.there are over 100 free camp sites in the areas adjacent to the roads and its just a great area.note though there is no cell service in most areas here and there are no stores lights or anything along the rec areas route .you can run from inlet to indian lake area and cedar river flow area .great place.
