I live in lower westchester and unfortunately not aware of any jeep (or 4x4) specific dealers. Closest real jeep specialist I know of are up in CT (and not real close in CT either). What do you need to have done?

EVB do real nice work, although sometimes can be a little expensive I have been told. Have heard good things about SVE down near New Haven.

I just got my 2006 WC GC L and would not like to have to be forced to go to the dealer for every service that I need done. Was wondering if anyone had a reliable repair shop that they trust? Somewhere in the Tri-State Area....

Thanks!

I do all my own service (and so far all my own modification, although that won't be true for much longer as axle regear and ARB install will be done by a shop). 5 years and 92K+ miles and the only thing I really have needed the dealer to do was replace ecu (under warranty).

Wow, very nice, all I do are the oil changes, but looking for an honest mechanic. When I had my Honda and was living in Queens, I was able to find a great Honda guy out in Amityville, LI. It was a 45 minute drive but well worth it as he never ripped me off. Any ideas on where to find one of these guys in Westchester?

Also, I had a question, as my 2006 GC is at 51,000 miles, do you know when I would need to change the timing belt?

thanks.

I go to Jon at Mad Dog Service located in Port Chester.

He did my frame cutouts for the rear coils (probably front soon) and my hemi/nv4500/atlas II swap in my TJ. Absolutely top notch work and more than fair on labor. I won't go anywhere else.

They do all of that too. You'll just notice a couple of bigger projects towards the back of the shop.

A few months ago I went to Amercian Tire in Yonkers to have them install my lift. I also bought 5 tires there. I absolutley recommend this place for both quality and price. 2000 miles on the lift and it is perfect. The price (tires and lift install) came in $800 less than the quote I received from the place in Danbury. I also saw some of their other work and it was top notch. They frenched led lights into an RSE bumper. The work was perfect. They are family owned and really nice people to deal with.

Here is their facebook page if anyone wants to check it out.
