I'd check the "Wheelin neighborhood" section of the forum
'98 xj: 3.5" RE, 31's, nates front bumper, etc etc...

'90 xj: Wrecked, waiting for the day it can become a full blown trail rig.

Same here

I'm in the same boat you are. Not that I have a new born but don't know of any places to go around here at Drum. I hear there is a local 4 wheel club but haven't found them yet. If you do or find any local trails let me know.

Check with the local clubs. Do some googling ('NY 4x4 clubs' for a start). I know there is Twisted Axles in Syracuse and Fingerlakes 4x4 (Formerly MudNuts), two clubs in central NY.
