Pictures From the Beach Excursion
Well, those of us that met up at the car show on Tuesday, we hit the beach at Smith's Point for the little trails they have and then had a BBQ. Daypass cost me alot, but was worth it.

-Pose for a stop somewhere at the end of the trails.

-I love my JK Rubicon. :-) (though I am still adjusting to my switch from automatic to a manual)

-The BBQ

The BBQ again, backed my Jeep closer and used my speakers for the music.

-One of the girls needed privacy, so two cherokees and a bright umbrella, lol.

-Chris showing how manly "grand" cherokees are.

-Sunseting(sorry for the focus on my jeep, she draws my camera more often)

-Bad camera shot, but about to head out and now it was dark, so lights shot.
It was alot of fun. Anyone not being so active in our group really should get more active, missing out on alot of fun. This was my last excursion for the next 6 months though, as the Navy's sending me to SC for 6 months. The other guys are still doing stuff though.

To whomever, keep us posted on future gatherings. I know I haven't been out yet, been a bit busy lately, and you guys are a little far out there.

Definately a great time, I just got done washing all the salt/sand off my baby and vaccuming the interior, no rust for my Turtle!
And I'll definately be getting back in touch(plus I'll be here on JF the whole time) when I get back up to NY.

What I've just started doing is as soon as I get back from the beach, I put a sprinkler under my jeep to wash the frame while I'm hosing off the body. If you don't have time to wash the whole jeep right away, at least put the sprinkler under it.

Well, anyone can, there's no "organizational structure" to us. We never became an official group, so anyone with a good idea can do it. However, I have spoken with Jim H, and he will be trying to "take the reigns," but again anybody can do it. Expect a post from Jim sometime soon. And if anyone has any questions, I am still going to be as helpful as I can be. I will be back in NY in 6 months, and expect to do some winter wheel'n with you guys.

Grass Roots Jeep Club
Hi Guys, This is Chip (formerly of another club). We've formed a new club www.GrassRootsJeepClub.com and I'd like to extend an invite to anyone who is interested in wheeling with us in the Pine Barrens in mid-October. We are located in South Jersey. Some of you guys have wheeled with us before. Please feel free to email me at rcjameshvac@comcast.net if your interested. Thank you, looking forward to hearing from you.
