That sucks Dave... Maybe we'll make another run sometime during the week. I got one more week, July 30th I leave though.

Hey guys, I won't be around for it, but there is a Jamboree in the Catskills that might be good? Comming up in September I think? Maybe at the very least you two could meet up there, though I'm sure others in the group would love to also.

Man, if you missed today's trail ride, you missed alot of fun. The storms lately really turned the trail up a knotch. I got stuck, but only because I backed down the hill climb retarded...wasn't really stuck,. just at an awkward angle where if I backed up I'd hit a tree and I couldn't move forward...so stuck...but I still say I wasn't immobilized...lol Either way, everyone pitched in and with some shovels, and a strap to pull my rear end to the right, I managed to get out of my predicament. Thanks to those that helped me out!

Alot of fun out there today, pictures and videos will be up soon, check back later tonight or tomorrow.

Fun ride today, guys. Here are some pictures. My sister took them, so they're not the greatest but they'll give you the idea. There are quite a few shots of a certain Rescue Green JK being recovered. I'll let everyone decide for themselves whether or not it was stuck.

I contend that if I can still backup...I'm TECHNICALLY still mobile. The fact that a tree was in the way doesn't count.... lol Again, thanks for all the help everyone.

And I'll have my pics and videos up probably tomorrow.

Jk Pics + Video

Here are my pics and videos from the trail ride.

-Here we are waiting for George who showed up real late. Lucky for him he's a cool guy, lol.

-This is AFTER shoveling a bunch. I could still move backwards the whole time, so I was still mobile! Just the damn tree was in the way so that wasn't an option, lol.

-Rich and George's Jeeps comming back up the trail.

-My JK Rubicon flexing it through the Frame Bender.

-George and his Parrot! Yeah, he brought a real live Parrot with him offroading! It was awesome! Definately nothing I expected.

-All of us grouped up after the trail ride ready to head home for showers and food.

Here are links to the videos:

It was alot of fun. Everybody just needs a CB next time, it's ten times more fun when you can communicate between vehicles and also you get to know what's going on. We only had me in the front with a CB and Chris in the back with one.

We were traveling the trails for about 3 to 4 hours, could've gone longer.

Looks like it was a good time, kinda hard for me to get away from the wife and kids this time of year. Oh well maybe some othertime......
Those of you planning on the Jeep Jamboree , heard nothing but good things about that trip from guys that did it last year. If you can afford to go, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I probably won't be making that one, but I am going to go back to the Pine Barrens for it again next year. Well organized and good people on the Jamboree. I suggest you try to go to one to see for yourself.
onlyn8v, don't let Chris' opinion make up you mind, it's a good time and it's also supposed to be pretty technical, a lot more rocks and climbing then there is at the Pines.
