There is a club up there actually. They would know the best trails. It might be adirondack off raoders (I know that is wrong now that I say it) but I know it is different from hudson valley off roaders.

There is also an off-road park in your area. I believe it was one of the stops on the 2010 Ultimate Adventure. Mountain something or rather . . . ?

Keene, NH
Southern NH
Sugar Trail, VT
Mettowee Mud Bog, NY
Rok-Park, NY
Tunkhannock Viaduct, PA
Rausch Creek, PA
Millersburg Ferry, PA
MotoCove, VA (also knows as Big Dogs)
Those were the stops of UA2010 that are listed on the cover. UA, for those who don't know, is a great DVD series released every year and they are always worth it IMO. Not too many trail riding 4x4 videos out there.

I found myself in a junk yard yesterday getting some Volvo parts and saw quite the lineup of Jeeps in the "Jeep section". Several hard tops and about 6-8 Wranglers. Cornell's in Greenfield Center (just north of Saratoga).

I am in Rensselaer right next to Albany. I have heard there are some trails in the Berlin/Cherry Plain area that are legal for 4x4s like us. I have not been able to conferm it just yet, but I have a friend that has been out there a few times though.
Also if you are looking for some people in the area, check out www.outlawedoffroad.com. great site and good group of people.
