Xaphanz what area's do you usually hit up? I know the Hudson Valley fairly well I am from Beacon, NY I just picked up my first Jeep but there are no trails that I haven't been on either with buddies, hiking, or my quads...
i like heading to sullivan, ulster, and greene county, but it's hard to get off the hard road. i'm thinking about trying to find a place i found by accident once before i ever had my jeep. pretty sure it was out in hurly someplace not too far from kingston.
i'm just on the other side of the bridge from you in newburgh.
Yea that area is gorgeous! I ride my bike around there near the shokan res and stuff. I will be looking for some nice trails out of my local area this summer. I will hit the hv thread up before I go I like to roll with a group more fun and safer!
rubi....!!? aww i hate your face j/k. i do envy your axles though. i need to regear, but i'm trying to catch a deal on some complete axles. if you know of anything locally, let me know :-)
you got any good wheeling spots locally? i used to have a secret little place down behind parr valley, but theve begun construction and now it's a thing of the past.
If you go to Marlboro High School, there are some rocks that line the parking lot behind the baseball field. Those are fun to flex on. There is also a park that is supposed to be opening up about 1 hour from here: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f160/...erest-1017157/
nah, i'm long gone from MCHS ( Go Dukes! ) lol. not much into flexing/crawling. i just like riding through the woods in mud and trying to come out covered in muck. i want to check out the mt beacon area, but i don't wanna get myself in trouble. it's so close and so tempting. sigh.... i hate ny
