Yj

Hey all, I just got a 1989 YJ today. I figured I would stop in and introduce myself. I have been on this forum on and off for a few years depending whether I owned a YJ at that time or not. I live in Modena, NY which is just south of New Paltz and about 15 minutes north of Newburgh. What I have now is a 2.5L, 5speed with 4.10 gears and a Skyjacker lift. The tires are Thornbird 35x14.5. I picked it up in a swap for an older Toyota I had. I have never been off-road but atleast not I have a vehicle that I can do it in. Hopefully I will catch with you guys sooner or later.

Thanks,
Dan

I want to hit Mt. Beacon Pretty bad. The guy that owns JVS (Jeep Vehichle Services) in New Windsor said the trails are great, and someone built a house halfway up the mountian so the gate that used to be closed is always open now. Anyone else interested?
