I think as a group we should unofficially close 909 to all Jeep and truck traffic.
We can do this by just staying away from there
What at the beginning seemed like a nice place to wheel quickly turned into an area of contraversy.
I myself have been there twice and have followed the tracks of othes who have been there before.
I also stayed off of trails that were marked as snomobiles only
This summer as the ground dries up maybe you can return but only before having a group discussion with the park ranger so they can clarify what roads/trails are legal to drive on

I will not be going back to 909, yes it was fun but I have seen it and I am moving on to better things

Exactly, the place got beaten too much. Not for nothing guys, but to the few that were going EVERY weekend... You didn't get bored after like the 3rd trip?

Hey guys I already posted here a month or so ago, but I was looking to see if any of you knew of any legal places to wheel by your area (fishkill, wappingers, poughkeepsie). My gf lives there and loves to wheel when I go-I'm currently stock though so nothing too crazy. If anyone has any places they know of, or maybe just good fireroads for a hot day with no top or doors, please list them or PM me. You guys have no way of trusting me, but for what it's worth I'm a responsible guy looking for a career in law enforcement after school so I won't be raising hell or making a mess. TIA

Nope, that's not me. Thanks-I'll look around for something up that way but I live in CT and I'm only in NY to visit the girl so I'm not sure it would be worth the trouble to join a club.
